We develop innovative solutions that enhance human interaction in challenging environments through communication, hearing protection, wellness monitoring, biometric sensing, and brain–computer interfacing. Our technologies are deployed worldwide through collaborations with leading OEMs, including several that have become ANSI standards.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Medical Device Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team in the development of a state-of-the-art communication system for use inside MRI suites.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate medical devices and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Lead mechanical product development.
• Maintain rigorous design documentation.
• Conduct design reviews and verification testing.
• Build functional prototypes.
• Provide technical guidance.
• Evaluate and select suppliers.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation packages.
• Support contract manufacturing activities.
• Conduct quality control.

Formation
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in regulated product development.
• Strong understanding of medical device design controls.
• Expertise in manufacturing processes.
• Experience with embedded electronic devices.
• Proficiency with CAD tools.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Depending on the daily tasks to be performed, working from home may be possible. However, as we often need laboratory equipment and great collaboration between the R&D teams is essential, the hardware designer must be able to come to the office with short notice if necessary.
